When a telemarketer calls me to pretend that I have somehow been awarded a free cruise, all I have to do is go to a sales presentation about some vacation spot I cannot get off of the telephone fast enough. These offers for a free cruise, or a free vacation are usually laden with some fine print that ends up costing me more money than if I had paid for the cruise or vacation out of pocket. And going to a high-pressure sales presentation is not my idea of fun at all.

Although I have several friends that go on cruises frequently, and rave about how much fun they have had, when I take a closer look at how small the rooms are, and remember tales from my parents about how when they went on a cruise how sick they got and how they could not get any medicine stronger than an aspirin or tylenol I start to think that going on a cruise just probably is not a very good idea for me.
