My son is always late for everything. My wife teases that he was two weeks late for his birthday, and he doesn’t want to break custom. Lately he has been blaming his lateness on his watch. It seems that no matter what watch we get him, the battery is short lived. His birthday is coming up next month and my wife and I plan to buy him a seiko kinetic watch for his birthday gift. A kinetic watch doesn’t run on batteries, it is kept “wound up” by the movements of his body. I think that will just about put the end to his “watch battery died” excuse, don’t you?
