My wife has been telling me that one of the brake lights on our car is out, and asks me to fix it. So I go out to check it, and it seems to work fine! So I tell her that I fixed it. Then a few days later she tells me it is out again. Apparently someone she works with has been telling her that. So I go out to the car again and check it, and it works fine. Well, wouldn’t you know it, this morning I saw her driving the car down the driveway on her way shopping, and I saw that the brake light is not working. Very aggravating! So I guess it’s a short in the electrical system, which is going to be a pain in the neck to try to troubleshoot!
One of my very favorite television shows is Burn Notice. Unfortunately there have been a lot of times that I’ve missed the show because I fell asleep before showtime! So I was thrilled to find a website called Spreetv that lists a lot of free Online TV shows that can be seen legally and found Burn Notice was on the list of shows I could watch! I have bookmarked their website for future use!
I’m working on finishing up my game room in the basement so I can set up my slate billiard table. I bought the billiard table at a thrift store last year at a real bargain, and hauled it home with the intention of setting up a game room. My plan is to work on the game room this autumn when business is a little bit slow.
One of the biggest things that attracts me to consider using special services for my television viewing is the cutting edge technology that allows me to set my DVR to record shows using an Iphone. I think that it is so cool that kind of technology is available! There are so many times that I’ve left home to go to work or run errands, and after I’ve left (and can’t go back) I suddenly remember that there was a show that I wanted to watch and/or record. With the opportunity to use an Iphone to program the system for me while I am someplace else is a really awesome benefit!
My wife’s friend Ellie just bought a pair of Dansko Shoes over the Internet and wore them to work today. She was telling my wife that she has started to buy more expensive brands, such as Beautifeel Shoes and Dansko because she was tired of trying to find cheap good looking shoes that were comfortable. She just wasn’t having much luck, and she was tired of working all day long and having her feet tired and sore at the end of the day.
I have to agree that having comfortable shoes to wear at work all day is a big priority. Especially for today’s women who are raising families and working full time. They spend so much of their time “on the go” that they need all the help they can get to be as comfortable as possible while they are accomplishing the impossible.
Ellie told my wife where to find them on the Internet and my wife was looking them over. She was hoping to find a pair or two that would fit her. She has extra wide but very small feet and she has a very hard time finding shoes that fit her. I can remember once I took her shopping for winter boots and the saleslady told my wife that the best fitting shoes for her would be boy’s shoes! That is not exactly what a woman wants to hear when she is looking for something pretty to wear!
