Custom built homes

I have to wonder how many Americans are going to be able to afford to buy new homes in the near future?  I know that there are spots around the country where the recession is hurting folks more than others, and I’m sure there are bargains to be had here and there.  I’ve been surprised to see how many people are still able to afford custom-built homes.  If I had my ‘druthers, I’d want a custom built home too!  The Schumacher Homes Louisiana branch of the Schumacher Homes company is a locally run company that designs and builds affordable, quality custom homes for their customers. I’d love to retire in Louisiana and have a custom built house there!
