I was reading in the newspaper that the local Human Rights Commission has sided with a local woman who was fired less than a week after complaining that her boss was making unwelcome sexual advances towards her.
I think that sexual harassment in the workplace is an important issue that deserves a lot more attention than it seems to get. Every female that I know has told me that she has been sexually harassed in her workplace on a fairly regular basis. I think that it is a real shame that women can’t feel respected where they work!
